Aldi will close its Porter Road store in Niagara Falls for nearly two weeks for renovations.
The store, at 635 Porter Road, will close Monday and reopen June 28 at 9 a.m.
The store will get an eco-friendly makeover. The remodel will use recycled building materials as well as energy efficient refrigeration and light bulbs. In addition, ceilings will be made higher and the store will rely more on natural lighting.
The no-frills, deep-discount grocer is headquartered in Germany.
