Hilbert College President Cynthia Zane was elected to the Council of Independent Colleges board of directors for a two-year term. The council focuses solely on providing services and a broad range of initiatives directly to independent colleges and universities to help improve the quality of education and strengthen institutional resources.

Company Connections

The Historical Association of Lewiston received an original 1815 map of the Village of Lewiston from descendants of the Townsend family of Lewiston, Stephen and Barbara Townsend of Buffalo. Biel’s Document Management digitized the original 1815 map and provided the Townsends a color-printed, high- quality reproduction in appreciation of their donation. It is the oldest map now at the Lewiston Museum, and visitors will have the chance to see this almost-200 year-old map in its original form.
