Colvin Cleaners will begin its ninth annual Gowns 4 Proms drive, which provides dresses to young women for their proms. The drive is currently accepting any dress that would be suitable for prom wear and accessories, such as purses, shoes, scarves and wraps. More than 1,000 dresses were selected last year, servicing more than 40 high schools in Western New York. Dresses can be dropped off through April 10 at any of these locations: Goodwill Industries of Western New York; Boulevard Mall, guest services center; Colvin Cleaners, 2375 Elmwood Ave.; Shea’s Performing Arts Center; TT New York, Boulevard Mall and Walden Galleria; Continental School of Beauty locations, 326 Kenmore Ave. and 1050 Union Road, West Seneca.
