Nurses at Olean General Hospital ratified a five year contract, the hospital said Wednesday.
The 230 registered nurses are represented by the New York State Nurses Association. The tentative agreement was reached April 3, after 17 months of negotiations, and the nurses formally approved the contract on Tuesday. “We appreciate the hard work of our registered nurses and are extremely pleased to have a new contract,” said Timothy J. Finan, president and CEO of Olean General Hospital and Upper Allegheny Health System.
